MY TAKE: There's so much truth in just the first sentence of this article. The vaping "epidemic" amongst teens is completely fabricated. It's not supported by the data that is in the public records from the CDC and news media is simply latching on to a catchy phrase to get more clicks/shares. We love ourselves a good sensationalized headline such as "Chocolate May Kill Cancer Cells" or "Drinking Soda May Lead to Heroin Use" but these articles are only loosely based on any sort of scientific evidence if any ay all. I think that if Scott Gotlieb wants to make wild claims about the vaping industry, he should be forced to back it up with scientific data.
